My editor sent me a huge box almost two weeks ago. I opened it up and saw copies of MOON SHADOW, my March release. My thought was, “Why is no one buying these!” The box sat by my desk, reproaching me. I finally decided to put the books away in my pile for giveaways, and when I took out the MOON SHADOW’s I realized the box held a bigger treasure—my July release! I now have copies of THE SUPPLICANT! Yey! And okay, I know the cover is the color of diner decore, but it’s still fun to hold your own book. Yey!

I just realized how woefully behind I am on my website. I need to post reviews and excerpts for THE SUPPLICANT, and I need to do it now! Stay posted. I hope to get to it this weekend.

In this morning’s mail I found my copy of RT Book Reviews, and in it was a review of THE SUPPLICANT, my August release. Kristi Ahlers gave it four stars! Yey!

Betts once again brings to life her incredible imaingination and blends it together with a fantastical make-believe world and interesting and dynamic characters. Sureya and Kalief are strong in their own ways, and yet they complement each other. Sureya’s awakening to her sensual self makes this an explicit read. Fans of the fantasy/erotic genre will be very pleased with this offering.
